PEANUT BUTTER AND JAM SMOOTHIE

SERVES 2 (MAKES 2 CUPS)

This is something I created for Sam Smith, who loves the classic American combination of peanut butter and jam. This slightly healthier form of these flavors is just as yummy.

INGREDIENTS

1½ cups fresh or frozen strawberries or raspberries

2 tablespoons smooth, sugar-free peanut butter

½ an avocado, peeled, pitted and roughly chopped

1 teaspoon coconut syrup

1 cup almond milk

a handful of ice cubes

Put all the ingredients in a blender. Pulse at first to break up the ice cubes, then blend until you have a smooth drink.
